Privacy policy
Novones respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG/FADP), in force since 1 September 2023, and, where applicable to visitors and customers in the United Kingdom, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why:
— Order fulfilment: your name, shipping/billing address, email, and order details — to process, deliver, and support your order.
— Payments: processed via Shopify Payments. Card details are handled by the payment processor under its own security standards; we do not store full card numbers.
— Marketing (optional): if you tick the newsletter opt-in at checkout, we use your email address to send you marketing messages. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We do not send SMS marketing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Recipients / processors: our e-commerce and payment platform Shopify, our shipping carriers, and the tools we use to operate the shop.
Transfers abroad: Operating on Shopify means some of your data is transferred to and processed by recipients outside Switzerland, including in Canada and the United States. Where a destination country does not provide an adequate level of data protection under Swiss law, these transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses adapted for Swiss law, as implemented by Shopify.
Retention & deletion: we keep order and transaction data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, including Swiss bookkeeping requirements. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights: you have the right to information/access, rectification, deletion/erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email info@novones.com.
If you are in Switzerland, you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB). If you are in the United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
